Pagudpud... Summer of 2009 :D

After imbitahin kumain ng hapunan sa Fiesta ng Real sa aming
Boarding haus na tinitirahan, we got our gear and went to our pick
up point.

And there we were... waiting for our van in Calamba..
our destination... PAGUDPUD!

Kasama ang usual Office Gang sa kakulitan at kalokohan.....
alas... natuluy din, we left Calanba already past 9 pm i think.
12 plus hour ride by land with namamanhid na cheeks ng aking pwet,
dagdagan pa ng upuan na walang head rests... bukul sa ulo at
mga naglakutukan na mga leeg habang tulog. All i can say is that
it was one cool at asteeg na trip :D

the trip was scheduled for 3 days and 2 nights

we toured around Vigan, Chavits Baluarte, Ilocos ... Marcos region
plus his musuems... The Malacanang of the North, and Pagudpud.


While in Pagudpud, we went to The boundery of Ilocos Norte and
Cagayan just correct me if iam wrong :D), treked Kabigan falls, got
to see the patapat viaduct, the so called Paraiso ni Anton
( Who's Anton? ) Blue Lagoon, Saud Beach for the Sunset Viewing,
Bangui Windmill Farm for the Sunrise, some Sand dunes kung saan
daw nag shoot ng Panday, pero hinde namin nakita si panday
hehehe, si Lizardo lang, hahahaha :D

hind lang namin napuntahan ay yung Fort Ilocandia :D pero ok lang
kahit hinde namin nakita kase wala naman sa itenerary ng tour yun.

String History...

Blue Sleek Lumanog Guitar from Dad... then was accidentally wacked
in our home... used it for about 9 years.

After that incident, I was eyeing on an electric guitar since then
but did not yet have enough funds to buy one...

Then, while i was still dreaming about a electric guitar, My brother
who had his OJT in Cebu bought a acoustic guitar for himself...
so I occasionally borrowed his gear since I dont have one

Then just recently... I began hearing low frequency sounds clearly
*exagerrates :D* not that have acquired a superpower because of
some solar eclipse :D but I started to appreciate the bass lines
more... and considering that i can only play guitar, a little
piano.... and a triangle *ting!!!!!*. i wanted to add one more
in my arsenal, the BASS!

Six Strings there were... then there was four....maybe pag malupets
na tau, add lang ng add hanggang maka six strings ulet, hahahaha :D

So the hunt begins for this Ibanez SR530IPT!!!!!!

3 for the ROAD!!!! EHEADS DA BEST!!!!

it was a night to remember as the Eraserheads performed at MOA
concert grounds last night March 7, 2009. The so called
"The Final Set" The Eraserheads Reunion Concert was a BLAST!

From the Intuititive countdown of scrambled letters instead of the
usual numbers, from ground rocking sets of ALCOHOL to mellow sets
of Pare ko to the reggae at makulit na rendition of Marcus ng
Wag mo ng itanong to the SOLO pa emote performce of KAILAN
by Ely, ASTEEEGGG!!!!!!!!! TALAGA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They also Paid tribute to the Masta Rappa Francis M. by singing a
part of his Kaleidoscope World song and the bands own rendition
of Super Proxy!!

Then the show Ended with a Flaming Sticker Happy Piano and
Fireworks while singing Ang Huling El Bimbo.

It was every one's assumption na tapos na nga an concert....
most of the people were walking thru the exits and almost
every one has gone gone out of the venue....

Buti na lang at medyo tinatamad pa kaming lumabas ng Venue then
just suddenly we heard *BITIN PA BA KAYO!!!!!!!*

"TAWAGIN NYO SI ELY ...... TAWAGIN NYO SI MARCUS!!!!!!"

people once more rushed in the venue, those who were last
were now in the front, hahahaha :D as for us... we stayed in
the same cool place... THE FIRST AID AREA :D

and now people were shouting *MARCUS!... MARCUS!.... MARCUS!!!*

ELY: "OK.... 3 FOR THE ROAD!!!!! wala to sa set list namen"
EBET: *raising my fist with the usual rock sign that i always do*
"WOHOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

they sang 3 more songs!!!!

THE ONLY MISHAP THAT I DID NOT LIKE IS THAT TIM YAP HAS TO
RUIN A SIMPLE ERASERHEADS SONG!!! *BOOOO* and why did you
have to do that Tim!!!

Over all, it was truly the best Eheads Concert for a long Time,

Cant wait for the DVD and the Album to come out!!!!!

uso pa noon ang cassette tapes....

'twas in the high school days when the hype began, where music,
kalokohan, kulitan, ay kung ano ano pang mga kabalastugan ang
pinagmulan. Met my never dying bardakada there, inuman, puyatan
hanggang umaga, mga road trip kung saan saan with matching
soundtrack ng albums na Eraserheads, RiverMaya at Parokya.

At pag nagkayayaan, walang tanggihan, ika nga ni Mignon
( tata Migz ) "ang mahalaga masaya" - words coming out of a time
experienced *on the brink of drunkness* man ( Migz hinde ko
sinabe kung gano ka katanda ha...).

Eto na nakabili nako! hahahaha! Paging Ely, Rayms, Buddy and
Marcus this better be good! You charge you're own country men
like were foreigners or sumthing....

Anyhow I Bought the ticket anyway... for old tym's sake *wohooo!!!*
The only Eraserheads album I have is the Fuitcake and it's on a
cassette tape ( for the generation ipod it's the media that came
before the CD or the MP3 )... the other tapes and CD's I borrowed
from my tropapips :D hahaha.

Kita kits na lang sa sabado para Ituloy ang Ligaya.

Full Moon Glory

Shot this with a kit lens from my cam, asteeg diba :D
I wanted to use the RAW file but due to the frequent
hanging of Lightroom while exporting Raw files, I decided
to use the Jpeg file instead.

They say that the moon will be seen at its biggest this
year this past saturday because of it's alighment with
the earth and the sun and other fatcors. So this night
i waited for clear skies and here it is :D

Anyhow, Fisrt week of work, Last monday, nakakatamad pang
bumangon, hahahaha inaantok pero dahil kailangan magbanat ng
buto, hala sige, pasok, hahahaha...

Got to see balik bayans also this week ( Hi Stell!!! ).
Went to a gig of a show band that has a song list of
80's songs, old school!!!!! :D

Also Advance Hapi Bday to Marwin! *Libre naman dyan!!!*

au revoir 2008 et bonjour 2009

The past year has been a blast, its been a year of firsts for me,
some things I've been very proud and there are some that im not,
lets just concentrate on the lighter side of things :D

It was a year that I've pursued my long dream of having my own
camera... isang malufets na camera, hahahaha, i started
longing for it when i was is college and now i have it,
hahahah :D

It was also the year that I've first used my passport, first time
to ride a plane and be hopping around a foreign country...
Singapore!! although it was for training purposes, it was fun :D
I got to visit my friends na nag eskapo sa Singapore para
mag hanap buhay. tyaga tyaga my friends. :D

I got transferred to another group in the Company that I'm working
for... and that Company had again acquired a new name because of
a business merger.

Got to see my High School Tropa before the year ends, although
we can't be complete due to conflicting work schedules, we still
had a fun time catching up with each other.

Kahit na hinde nagkitakita for a while, basta pag nagsama sama
hahaha puro paden kalokohan :D

Also got acquainted with new friends as well.

Even though you think that your life might not have been great this
past year, learn to see through it, somewhere, some how, this has
been a blessing for us.

Life and God has been good not only for me but for my Family and
Friends this year. Count your blessings and not the mishaps that
have transpired through the year I Know mostly will agree that
Living in 2008 has been great.
